Elderly Care and Companionship
Bringing companionship, respect and practical support to older adults.
Older adults deserve more than occasional assistance with daily needs. They deserve companionship, patience, respect, and reassurance that they remain valued members of society.
How we help
- Organising respectful visits and companionship programmes.
- Helping connect older adults with essential supplies and available support services.
- Supporting access to healthcare information and appropriate referrals.
- Assisting with community activities that encourage social connection.
- Promoting awareness of accessibility, mobility, and age-related challenges.
- Coordinating practical assistance for older adults who lack adequate support.
- Encouraging intergenerational activities through which younger volunteers can learn from older adults.
- Supporting families and caregivers by helping identify available community resources.
We do not believe ageing should mean becoming invisible.
A person’s value does not decrease with age, and the need for companionship should not be overlooked simply because it is less visible than a financial need. Sometimes help means providing an essential resource; sometimes it means giving time, listening carefully, and treating someone’s experiences with respect. Both forms of support matter.
