What We Do

Healthcare and Rehabilitation Awareness

Promoting health education and connecting people with the right resources.

Health affects every part of life, from education and employment to family responsibilities and personal independence. Through appropriate partnerships and qualified guidance, Namal aims to promote health awareness and help communities better understand available healthcare and rehabilitation resources.

How we help

  • Community health education and awareness sessions.
  • General health literacy and preventive health education.
  • Physical therapy and rehabilitation awareness.
  • Information about mobility, safe movement, functional independence, and accessibility.
  • Awareness of disability inclusion and the everyday challenges faced by people with disabilities.
  • Educational sessions about posture, ergonomics, and healthy movement habits.
  • Connecting people with appropriate healthcare providers and rehabilitation services when possible.
  • Helping eligible individuals access available services through partnerships or needs-based assistance.
  • Awareness initiatives for older adults and people experiencing mobility limitations.

Working within our competence

As a student-led initiative, Namal works within the competence of its volunteers and the scope of their training. Clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services are delivered only by appropriately qualified professionals. Our purpose is to improve awareness, facilitate access, and encourage informed decisions — not to replace qualified healthcare services.
